Origin and Terroir
How Coffee Origin Influences Flavour
Altitude, climate, and variety shape what a coffee can taste like. A country name is a map reference, not a single flavour.

Guatemala · Medium-Dark
Dark chocolate, brown sugar, and green apple.

Antigua sits in a valley between volcanoes. This washed lot is the fuller, chocolate side of Guatemala: dark chocolate, brown sugar, and a green-apple finish. Washed means the fruit is removed before drying, so the cup stays structured rather than jammy.
The fruit is removed before drying. The cup is usually cleaner, and acidity is easier to taste.
More cocoa and body. The origin is still there, but the roast is louder.
